I created a little theme using some HTML5 and CSS3. If your launching a new WordPress site on your domain and your site is under development, you would definitely want your visitors to be still attached to your website. In case your redesigning your existing site, still you can use this kind of light WordPress theme, to keep your visitors tuned with the updates on your revamped site launch.

You can change the background, add your Facebook and Twitter profile, Feedburner Feed and Email address and type a welcome message to your users from the theme options page.
